Same template style to Home, Page and Post

Hi,

I know that this question have been asked multiple times but I have not find any clear answer and procedure on how to go on this.
This is the problem: Using last version Themler for Joomla, after a lot of effort and tweaking here and there in so many places that it is impossible to remember all, I have manage to style the Home template. Now to my despair the Page and Post templates are not having the same styles. In particular everything inside Content & Sidebar is misaligned and improperly styled.
The solution proposed in other posts is to create shared sections (I guess by using the Copy Link). But here is the catch. Themler does not allow to remove the Content Section. It can be removed by using a context menu but in any case it does not allow to insert a new Content section using Paste Link.
Another suggestion is to use Copy/Paste Style, but I cannot see that option anywhere in the UI.

So please can someone provide once and for all CLEAR, DETAILED AND REPRODUCIBLE instructions, preferably with snapshots, on how to have the same style for all templates.

Hi,

Could you please provide an access to your site where we could see your template and the exact content you are referring to. So we could see what exactly from the Home template you want to reproduce on the Page template. The main sections like header, sidebars and footer are already shared between the templates so they do have the same styles.

Hello,
I'm very sorry for delay in response.
I checked your theme, namely the Home and Page templates. I see that Header and Footer shared areas are used that is good. The only issue is Content part.
Here is how Home template looks

Please follow the steps to made it look the same on the Page and Home templates:
1.open Page template >> Content and set its Length to "Sheet Width"

2.set Padding to 5px, set margin to 0px

3.then open the Layout tab >> Content & Sidebars and remove the 'Set Page Width' extension

The Post template is now disabled.

Please follow the steps provided there to enable Post (if needed). If you get questions about its style please let us know.

Otherwise every time I develop a new site I need to be swapping from one template to another (which is slow) for every change I make to keep them in sync.
Is this possible? Is there any plan to implement it?

Hello,
to use the same style of Content control within the same theme you need to copy and paste the style using Copy Style/Paste Style options.

As for transferring style between themes you may consider creating special theme where set up Content style. Save it and use a abase for other themes which you create. You may import it as ZIP into each new theme and thus get styled Content.

Hi.

Thanks for your reply. The Clipboard area in the Ribbon does not show any copy/paste style action when selecting the Content or any of is sub sections.

Thanks. That works although not all configurations are copied. Only the styles. Layout and extensions are not copied. Also it is not recursive. Also It would be nice to get the copy/paste style available in the ribbon.

You can set the layout options manually, that option copies only the styles.
