I need to recover my themes from an old instal

Have you installed the theme on the site? If you have exported the theme with the editor included and installed it on the site, then you can open it in Themler. In other case I'm not sure what to suggest, maybe some hard drive recovery applications would help.

Hi,

If you have exported the themes with the editor included you can now open them in Themler. Run Themler for the appropriate CMS you built the theme for and in the File menu choose import from ZIP.

If I reinstalled the system, but I have preserved the entire contents of the old drive C. Am I able to recover the old settings and themes?
Is the only way is the recovery projects, with previously saved projects in ZIP format?

The theme folders should be stored on the C drive, the path is similar toC:\ProgramData\Themler\hd_data\themler_xxxxxxxxx\wordpress, a separate folder for each CMS. Please note that ProgramData is usually a hidden folder.
