Themler Update (23-Jan-2015) We need your help!

Hello Themler Team. first of all congratulations on another great update !! :)

1. the header and footer areas work great as far as i can see, i like it. it can be nice and consistent if this would also be for the sidebars....

2. the most annoying performance issue for me currently, you actually solved (the save theme took long time and had errors, but currently you fixed this problem), so maybe the slider's animation in responsive view. i mean the fact that it works really sllugish and slow in animation , except the fade animation (i think it has to do with mobile browsers, but i already seen smooth sliders in mobile, so you probably can do something).
   Also, if you could add the ability to swipe to change the slide, it would be great, and perhaps add fastclick library to responsive modes (it is a js library that removed the 300ms touch delay when hitting a button in mobile browsers, and thus makes the whole responsive site work more smooth and more native application like.

3. About the most unclear functionality for me currently its the problems to edit phone portrait and phone landscape modes. Currently i don't have any way to check the site until i upload it, and than i can not see any way in themler to make a consistent look in those two views, at least, not unless going to the elements arrangement properties and chance some custom settings. the thing is, that to do all those custom setting for each site if i want the site to look good on portrait and also landscape, isn't clear to me how to do, and i know that the phone potrait mode was kind of abandoned in bootstrap 3, so i hope there would be some way to address this issue.

another issue for me is the "read more" link in the blog page. the "read more" is in the same line as the post, and i don't see any way to move it a line under and, to be clean, and maybe have the option to edit this as a button or something.

and yet another issue for me is that i can't change placeholder's text color in contact form 7 plugin for wordpress. because there is no option to do this, i can make only one style of contact forms, and they all have the line above the input element, and not inside, and thus makes me make longer contact forms. if there was someway to edit placeholders color, and especially in contact form 7 (which i think the majority of WP users use for their sites).

1. some things i really would want to see that would make themler amazing:
   
   • the off-canvas responsive menu ( i mean that the responsive menu will make a transition from the left or right of the screen, like an application).
   • making the slider have functionality with better animations to do premium sliders (layerslider and such).
   • a way to build content in themler and not just templates. Currently, if i had themler as the editor to my wordpress pages, everything would be amazing, i wish it could be made somehow).
   • if you could somehow add a full background option for the slider, it would be amazing, and we can build premium gallery style sites in themler :)

And last thing, i would actually want to say what i really like in themler. first of all it is a one of a kind software, that has amazing potential, there is no other cms site builder like this, and i tried a lot of them. but the best thing in themler is the team behind it. I must say i am really impressed with all your work, you are pro developers, and you really listen to anything, and give solutions to everything. this fact, makes me know that themler will succeed no matter where you will take it , i am coming from artisteer, and i don't even need to tell the people here about the lack of support there. here it is like the opposite, and i really appreciate it, i had to tell you ! :)

These are my thoughts, thanks for all your great updates, themler is going really really good, i already recomended themler to 3 clients and and they all registered right away!

I really love to see updates, the themler team should be applauded for great sucess. I will play around with the header and footer, good to see it will be grouped together and shared.

One thing I would love to see is the ability to create more templates and or maybe a way to duplicate everything on that page to the next template rather than having to copy and paste each control over?

Snapping the footer to the bottom of the browser window would be great something Artisteer had and I know you have added to the wish list. Right now I do some CSS for it, but would love to see it integrated.

Problem I see that has been around for a while. Say I open up wordpress and access the theme via my copy in the billion themler on the left. It goes to themlers website and asks me to login, from there it redirects via my website or authenticates and gives me a 404 error, I then have to click back and do again and its fine. Or if I am already signed into themler in that browser to begin with its fine. Not sure if its happening elsewhere or not?

Another thing I would like to see is maybe some more blank template examples to start with, vs the fully loaded one, maybe a more slimmed down basic blank canvas to start with? Parralax design, no slider, etc.

Otherwise keep up the great work love your product.

Fantastic, really appreciate the Hyperlink addition to the slider - have added and tested, works great.

Most annoying, is that it takes a long time to save changes I make to the theme, and as it crashes for me often, I need to save after every minor change to make sure it goes through, and if it crashes, I login out and then back in for a second try. It could just be my very poor internet quality causing this, and I've got used to do it, it's probably a good practice anyway.

Being able to make headers and footer "set for all pages" would be great, and a "Duplicate Template" would be great.

Creating additional temple layouts for my theme would be great - like "Full Width" which I really miss, and a tick box for "hide page title".

Took me a long long time to it Themler system in my head and just starting to "get it" - support is wonderful, but sometimes I have to ask for more specific instructions. Themler is already very powerful, but has huge potential, really excited for you guys and to see where it will be in 12 months time. Great work, and keep it up.

Re: Read More button.

Actually we already have Read More control that is available in Insert > Posts section.

You can make layout like the following:

Although we understand that drag-and-drop in some cases is not clear.
And we are working on Blog presets that should help to do this in one click.

If you use Read More control, you will need to disable "Read More..." link in Post Content set by WP.
This can be done in WordPress Admin > Appearance > Theme Options > More Links.

Also these properties allow you to change HTML and text of Read More link.

If you want to use Slider with Page Width please change Length property.

If you want to use Slider with whole Page Background.
Set the following.
Also you may want to disable Pause on Hover Carousel Tab property.

About the "read more" link, yeah, it would be amazing to make this with only one button click, i wouldn't have known how to edit this if you didn't put here the instructions for it, so thank again.

About the full site background slider, thanks, i tried doing it, and also sent you a message for support about something... from what i tested, it works great, and it will be great if you could put this as a preset in the slider, or make maybe a special control for full site slider, because it is a very premium element, and themler has this feature, so it would be great if users can do this quickly, it will greatly add the themler's appeal in my opinion.
