Please can I have some clarity on the processes of building a woocommerce site in themlar.
I have made a nice site in themlar, added logo, pictures and text to the front page(home) design with carousel. I then make a zip file and upload file to wordpress. I open wordpress and click to customize the site iv made.
All I have is the logo and a header?
All my text, images, carousel, well most of the template is not loaded?
Do I not bother making anything in themlar to upload? Do I just load to wordpress and then run themlar back and forth as I build the site in word?
Yes I did read http://answers.themler.com/articles/3626/how-to-use-wordpress-theme#edit
Yes I did load it to my ipage site http://answers.themler.com/articles/3624/how-to-install-wordpress-theme
So is it possible to make a site theme and send it as I see in themlar to WordPress and have it load and look as it does in themlar?

Hello Alan,
let me provide a brief explanation: the Themler theme stores the static components of the theme like page background, images, text, various styles. All dynamic content: posts, pages, menus, widgets, etc. are stored in WP admin back end. When theme is saved as ZIP it includes only static components. And when it is installed to other WP site the dynamic content specific for this site is displayed.
It's not a problem with the theme, this is the way how it works.

So if you install the theme to new WP site you need to configure some dynamic content at this site, like menus, widgets, plugins. That's standard step for any WP site and theme.
If you want to move WP content from one WP site to other this article would be helpful

Hi,

To avoid moving the content we suggest to install the default theme on the site where it should appear and then edit the theme and content inside the Themler editor within the CMS admin panel. So to understand the difference, Themler does not export content but it allows editing the content. So when designing the theme out of the working site, the content will remain in the location you have developed the theme. And when working on the site the content that you see inside the Themler editor is the live content from your site.

Sincerely,
Hella

Hi,

Sorry for the bad manual. I hope that it will be better in the future. We also intend this forum to be like a knowledge base where you can find a question from some other user with the similar question that is already answered.

Sincerely,
Hella

I know this is old but it might be a good idea to install the Themler WordPress plugin on your WordPress site and do your modifications from there.
