Moving Joomla positions within header

Say I wanted to have the Joomla Module Postion in the attached screenshot to the right of the headline in the header and not above it (which I do): how would I do that? If I drag it is doesn't like it and goes back to where it is now. The width of the page is 800px, the width of the headline is theoretically 500 (although it appears to extend to the full 800) and the width of the module is 300. What's the best way to set this up (all with a white background without strips of the black background outside of the page appearing).

Then, if I wanted to add social icons under the new module, how would I do that without them clinging to the far left of the screen, as they now do when I insert them.

Cheers

Hello,
you may consider locating Columns control inside Header section. Locate headline in the left column and locate Joomla module position in the right column

regards,
Aileen
