Hello, I am in the process of designing a new HTML website through Themler. Like the process and the Themler functionality for what my needs are. However, I am in need of a decent looking Contact Form for my website. I understand that it is not possible to design such a from inside of Themler. Looking for a Themler HTML Expert, who may be willing and able to assist with this task, as paid contract work/job. Also wondering if anybody else has had success incorporating a working Contact Form into a HTML Themler website ? Thanks in advance !

Thanks Hella ! Any idea how soon this update may happen ? This Contact Form feature seems to be a important option/request that many Themler users have been looking for. Would be a great addition ! Thanks !

Hi,

The new update is coming soon.
But please note that this update will support only Form builder. The server side action that sends emails will not be included into the Themler. You will need to use third-party solutions.

Thank you,
Olivia

Hello, I still am having a difficult time understanding why you could not include a simple php file to send these emails and the other required things like required fields, etc.

Can you add this to the program please?

Hello, so I have started looking for some different ways to use this. Since I do not code I figure there may be a form generator that would create the php and js files. Then I simply point my Themler form to those files.

http://phpformgen.sourceforge.net/ builds forms and generates the files. Do you think I could just use the Themler form with their php file? If I name the fields the same and point the form to their file it should work?

There are other form builders but this one I can install on my server and use it for my sites. Please help me figure this out. If this does work it would be useful for all of us an easier than you adding the functions.

Another inexpensive option that might work http://formbakery.com/ It too generates form php, js files.

Thank you

Hi,

We did not include our php for sending emails because i this case we'll receive a lot of request to add something to the script or remove or change. In other words, it would force us to create and support contact form plugin.

Unfortunately I cannot download the sample form and check it (the page returns error). The easiest way to answer your question is to check the exported form html source and try to recreate the same source in Themler. I don't know what identifiers this code uses (names, classes or IDs) and whether it needs the form identifiers or not.

Thank you,
Olivia

Hello, I have solved my issues by installing a form component on my server. It has every option there is including payments. In the long run this will serve me much better than trying to configure your form fields.

If anyone is interested the program is Rackforms and is very inexpensive for what it does. There are others like MachForms as well.

Thank you

In case anyone wants to look at this. https://www.rackforms.com

Installing it was not too difficult and it's got a myriad of options, including payments. I was sick of the branding JotForm started adding and paying them $25 a month is ludicrous for a contact form.
