HI,

I'm getting the following error on home page after installing the theme on Magento 1.9.1.0 :

Empty slider settings. Please do "Apply Theme to Cms" and configure "Slider 1" in Admin panel.

PS: Just finished installing magento.

Also, I want to achieve exact HOME PAGE design with magento at http://i1878232.magento.20.preview1-live.billiondigital.com/. Is it possible to IMPORT the content from the theme? If not please provide some instructions on how to achieve that design.

    Please configure Product Slider in your Magento CMS.
    This option cannot moved between sites.

  2. You can try to use Magento Import/Export to move products:
    http://www.magentocommerce.com/knowledge-base/entry/tutorial-using-magentos-import-export-
    But you cannot move Categories, this requires special plug-ins.

  3. Theme design
    Please click FILE > Download Theme as ZIP from the top menu.
    And install this theme to your CMS.

It depends on what exactly banner you want to create. Could you please explain your question in more details and provide us with an example?
Is it should be a Slider with products, or static slideshow, etc?

If I have made two slides slider and two slider images in Themler view: then your instruction does not tell me what to do (http://answers.themler.com/articles/4780/product-slider-ecommerce) with magento.

I get the error on Themler: Empty slider settings. Please do "Apply theme to CMS" and configure slider. But I do not get the answer from you. Step to step: what to do??

If I have write the image text in Themler and downloaded an image to the slider in themler:
1) do I have to do nothing or is the slider going to work when I´m bringing the template css to my real magento site? The slider is just in front-page.
2) Are my made images then there in my made Themler Template?
3) And is the slider also already there with my themler made images? --> With what code I get the slider to work on front page?

Proper replies please.

This is not error. This is a message that describes what to do.
The provided link contains instruction for different CMSs including Magento. Here is direct link to the chapter about Magento:

You just need to add control and choose the source for the Slider. That's all.

Hello,

Well... Actually I didn´t have to do nothing. I just installed the magento skin and the dia and the front-page is working as it should be. That is logical and how it should be :)

I just ignored those two lines.

Could say that years using Artisteer is helping in making these, but you have to know what magento is and how it is made so you can make your own templates. This would have been easier for me if I had just started to make the skin and not to try to look at the instructions :) But now I know.

Exactly what steps you followed?
The "Apply theme to CMS" is now "Save" or "Publish". Simply save changes and configure Slider under the Magento Admin Panel
