Themler v.289 Update (16-April-2016)

Hi everyone,

We've updated Themler from the current Beta version.
The new version is 289.
Here is a list of fixes included in this Themler update:

Controls

Added Form Control

General

Layout switched to 12 columns instead of old 24 columns
Drupal: Now Blog template is used for Drupal native Blogs.

UI Improvements

Distinct theme structure with colors:
- Orange frames: Header & Footer for all templates
- Blue frames: Controls of current template
- Green frames: CMS content controls
Different buttons for Adding section to Template and to CMS content (see screenshot above)
Join Text editing commands in context toolbar and on Home tab, depending on selection in Text editing area:
- By default, text styles are applied to Section styles, or to specific control where value is already customized
- When all text is selected then the style changes will be applied to selected control
- If text fragment is selected then changes will be affected by html markup (e.g. with <b> and <i> tags)
Drag & Drop improved: if multiple drop containers are located near each other then they will be joined into single drop area. After the drop you will see the popup with list of drop containers to choose from.
Ribbon UI: Lock function for images to resize proportionally:
Ribbon UI: Button for replace any section with different preset:
UI: Added button for more easy hide and show of left (navigation) and right (property editor) panels

Ribbon UI: Fixed issue with absence of control's tab on ribbon if the control is located inside Section with Columns
Ribbon UI: Fixed problem when working with inherited columns
Ribbon UI: Fixed issue with empty Font Family on the Home tab
PrestaShop: Fixed issue with Columns width
PrestaShop: Fixed issue with Product Title in Accessories
VirtueMart: Fixed issue with adding Cart Link control
VirtueMart: Fixed issue with accessing Products templates in some cases
VirtueMart: Fixed issue with Amount Counter
Joomla: Fixed "Not found Error" when opening theme in Themler
Joomla: Fixed issue with Default template
Joomla: Fixed issue with JSN-Uniform
Drupal: Fixed issue with Sidebars and empty Drupal Regions
Other fixes of bugs and crashes.

The reported issue with logo resizing is resolved on our end and the fix will be included into the next Themler update

Hello Perez,
it's a known issue and developers are working on a solution.
As workaround you may make the Logo invisible in Phone mode, and add Image control which is visible in Phone mode only. Specify it resized logo image

Hello,

Since that last updated the logo with responsive joomla does not work, of which the logo becomes active miniature, it is no longer possible to adjust the size and other photos joomla have the same problem.

As mentioned above, v292 update includes two fixes for issue with missing controls and for issue with opening from file on MAC:

We've updated Themler to v292 and resolved the reported issues with missing controls and issue with opening from file on Themler Desktop for MAC.

Hi,

We wanted to make Themler Sections more universal. Also there were many problems with layouts of third-party extensions that use bootstrap 3 columns. Therefore we decided to convert our 24 columns grid to native 12 columns bootstrap grid.

We've updated Themler to v292 and resolved the reported issues with missing controls and issue with opening from file on Themler Desktop for MAC.

If you have any issues with this update please create a new Private topic and provide more details about the issue, attach problem theme or provide access to the joomla admin panel.

Cart link was working fine, now it is broken with the attached error.

I did however have a problem with sites that make use of the shortcodes. These Joomla websites now give the content of the article instead of what should happen with the shortcodes.

I love the fact that we now use 12 columns instead of 24. Most CMS-ses and other webdevelopment tools use the default Bootstrap. Also a lot of extensions for CMS-ses use the default bootstrap and they only use 12 cols. I did however have a problem with sites that make use of the shortcodes. These Joomla websites now give the content of the article instead of what should happen with the shortcodes.

Themler for joomla v289 does not load images from files

New Release is ok and good but still there is major problem.
1) Themler has given option to edit all pages through themler suppose if you need to edit your about us page you can do it but there was options to insert into page button but now is is vanished.
2) When you insert footer from section it says - Sorry you website will restore now - Error this is very critical problem I have faced with new updates.

I have an issue with columns in the themler UI...it keeps putting a "column is empty" message even though column is not empty...I fresh and it goes away, I move to another page and it comes back I think we are going a bit backwards in the UX. Everything was easy to find before. It made sense when you click on something and the settings where there, now half the time I have to go into "more options" to find things. Not loving the lastest changes.

Why changing the columns from 24 to 12?
Now I need to change all articles in all my website where I have used Bootstrap column classes, and that's a lot!!
Can't you make it a general setting if you really want to provide 12 column grids?

What is wrong with keeping the 24 vs 12 column sizes? This messes up the sizes of my layout if I update the theme?

Crash when set Bold option for Button font (on any template even blank theme).
Tested on Joomla and WP.

I've failed to reproduce this issue on my side. Could you please create separate Private topic and attach the theme with the problem button.

I've downloaded latest version, un-installed previous version and now using v 289.
When I create new theme, it shows v 256 and says update available. Is it a bug?
As it asks me to update everytime i try to create new theme (html)
When i open (html) theme (v289) it says please wait, theme is being updated to latest version and after a while it says theme was updated to the new version (v289).
It does it everytime

In general, you don't need to re-install Themler to get the latest version of Themler. The Themler version in Desktop may be different from the current Themler version because we update Themler more often than Desktop. To get the latest Themler version you just need to update the theme. So, if you updated theme and the update was successful then it's ok. If you updated theme to v.289, saved it and reopened and it still asks for update to v.289 then it's not ok and you should create a new Private topic and attach the problem theme.

They will be converted to 10-2.

All my Slides except the first one are white and empty.
In themler itself there are all images visible.
