Hi,
Since update 289, there's a bug when the slides end fading: the slide briefly reappears and fades again... (in Joomla anyway).
See it live on:

Hope you will come up with a fix ;-)
Thanks in advance.

After I was ready to concede that it's the slider, I made one last attempt at the settings.
I was able to get the slides to do exactly what they should - slide in, pause, slide out, then go to the next slide - NO flash of the slide on its way out.

Here's what I did...look at attached screenshot.

Just put a "0ms" in the Carousel settings at the bottom within "Animation".
Animation > Direction = From Right
Animation > Duration = 0ms
Animation > Function = (blank)

I tried that and it works. The animation appears as desired, and the slide does NOT flash on the screen as it slides out.

Cheers!
Thomas

Please tmgarrison,
Think about the logic of the item "duration".
It's true that when you put it at 0, there's no flash between the slides.
But there's no transition anymore!
The transition of which you can control the time it should be visible, depending on the number you put in "duration".

There's a bug in the slider. And the developpers are working on it according to Aileen.
