WooCommerce Gallery Images and Short Description problem

We are currently working on a WooCommerce shop and have two problems when using a Themler template.

1) When clicking on an image in the product image gallery the WooCommerce lightbox pops up as it should, but the product image also changes to the gallery image clicked on.
Even if that would be wanted behaviour, as it is not for us, then there is the problem that it doesn't scale properly to see the whole image in the featured image page area when replacing the product's feature image with any setting that we tried. The best we could find was having scroll bars appear.

2) The short description entered into the WooCommerce product is truncated with ellipsis by the Themler theme instead of being shown as entered into WooCommerce.

Both issues do not come up when using the standard WordPress Twenty Sixteen theme.

Hi,

  1. The default behaviour of the Product Thumbnail is changing Product image on click without lightbox. To see the full size image the Product Image control support CloudZoom feature.
    Unfortunately CloudZoom is hardcoded and cannot be disabled. Therefore we suggest to disable woocommerce lightbox to avoid mixing of effects.

  2. The Product Description control has Length property. You can reduce the value, increase or clear (to shot the full description):

1) doesn't work. I have created a private ticket with log-in information.

2) I propose to change the default to show the short description like the WordPress templates do. That makes more sense in my mind. Since we already enter a short description in WooCommerce I don't expect the theme to shorten it further. Why should the theme do that?

2.the Themler provides you ability to specify the description length and we consider it reasonable.
You may submit a new post of Wish type and let other users vote for it. We're taking into account users vote while planning new features and changes
