When I turn on header in default template in templates/ areas menu. I end up with 2 headers and 2 footers on the default page.

I try to delete 1 of them then the header disappears on all of my other pages. Eg home page , posts.

Then if I turn it off and on again, the header appears at the bottom of the page in the footer.

I'm confused by this and keep losing all of my templates and having to pretty much start again.

David

Copy the lost rows and paste back where it is missing in the other templates. That is the best solution now. It happened to me too and that is what I did.

Hello, guys.

You also can vote for this topic: Option: show elements (row, box, div, position etc.) on all pages or on single page (menu item)

And don't miss to vote for other features on Wishlist Vote page.

Thanks, yes that is what i'm doing, but it is a strange that the default for the default page is to have the footer and header turned off. I don't know of any situation where you wouldn't want to have a footer and header on the default pages??

Hi David,

When I turn on header in default template in templates/ areas menu. I end up with 2 headers and 2 footers on the default page.
I try to delete 1 of them then the header disappears on all of my other pages. Eg home page , posts.
Then if I turn it off and on again, the header appears at the bottom of the page in the footer.

I've failed to reproduce them on my side. I've tried to show/hide, delete, copy&paste Header and Footer on different page templates but they works as they should.
Could you please provide us with exact step-by-step instruction on how to reproduce these issues on the new theme?

Thank you,
Olivia
