Please bring back the 24 column size. This gives us more granular control. I have a theme I use that will break the column format if I update to the 12 columns.

Why does it have to change. This makes Themler more powerful to have this control.

Hi,

We had a lot of requests to change our themes to the 12-column grid as most plug-ins and extension do use it. So that's the reason. Your theme should not break after the update, but in any case you can make a back-up template.

Sincerely,
Hella

Please explain how am I supposed to breakup 5 columns evenly using 12 columns. Is there a way to give the user the option to pick 12 or 24. If I keep the old template I won't be able to update. The granular control has been lost, there a way to over write this setting in the code?

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no way to switch to the 24-column grid back. But in the 24-grid there also was no possibility to create 5 equal columns.
You can use the solution from other Bootstrap users with the same problem:
