Please open Themler, click on Updates link located on the top bar.
Then please log on and you should see the dialog popup Upgrade current theme to latest Themler.
Please click on Backup and upgrade button to proceed.

How do I put a project on a portable thumb drive to allow me to work on it at a different location?

Hello Jeff,
in fact if theme is applied to CMS (e.g. WP site) there's no need to store the theme on portable drive. You may open the theme in Themler directly from CMS admin back end and edit it.

If you're working with Themler Desktop version there're two ways. Store the theme as ZIP where you need.
1).you may install Themler Desktop on several PCs and open the saved ZIP from Themler Desktop
2).access Themler online at themler.com and import saved ZIP to edit it

These instructions of yours (Themler group) are so ridiculous. Why to bother writing one if it is badly done?

• Where is this button? Image print screen to these instructions of yours, please.
• Do you mean that it automatically appears when upgrade is needed? If you do, why to even mention somekind on of button what does not excist?

I have Thelmer version v.301. And because I do not want to tease people, I tell this, but I have to say already that I have not got the answer to you because...:

The button is not correctly on the top bar.
1) When you have open the Themler and Magento theme. You need to click open the Help- button (question mark button), which is on the right site of your navigation bar. The last item on it.
2) The drobdown menu opens and the last item is the "view updates log"
3) it opens you the Themler web-site and you can see the latest update. The latest update is on top of the page.
4) ... but the problem is thatthere is not the upgrade information like "install update". It is just the news about updates. I´m not happy with this kind of missleading at all...
5) Do you Themler guys really just wan´t to try get easy and put everything for everyone so it´s my problem to find and configure for myself the information I´m looking for?

Hello Kati,
the Update icon automatically appears when new version is available. It appears at the top menu.
For example now Beta Updates icon appears automatically:

To update the theme just click on this icon. The back up copy of the current theme version is created automatically and then theme will be updated.

The steps are quite easy.

Hi - i also have problems to upgrade. The new version is out, but my themler installation is not showing this update. There is no button. Can you help? Greetings Sascha
