Drupal - Post Image Control

Hi,

Unfortunately Post Image does not work in Drupal as it works in WP.
Image field is not accessible from node.tpl.php and it does not have own variable.
Drupal does not have control similar to WP Post featured Image.

I checked on Cloud, Post controls (any) are possible to insert inside post elements just in Blog template (not Home, Default or any custom archive template). And Blog template can be used only once per website.

Please, have some intern meeting regarding Drupal part in Themler. It doesnt go like this way. It lags behind WordPress and any other CMS big time.

Not exactly. Posts control in the only control that outputs CMS content (posts, pages, articles). Any of available Posts controls can be inserted on any of the supported templates:

The problem is that in some cases there is nothing to show inside control and you may not see the added control.
The Post Image displays author avatar if exists and enabled.
This control cannot output the content of image fields because there is no particular variable to take this image. The machine name of fields may be different for different content types and cannot be edited.

If you have a theme where you do not have Posts contro you can enable it under the Layout tab >> Content & Sidebars >> CMS Content. If you cannot insert any of existing Posts controls available under "Add Control" please attach the problem theme.
