My sub menu items are showing behind/under the page content. Which setting brings the pull-down menu items in front of page content?

If it scrolls the menu item is not hidden. See www.webnetmarketingstudio.com the sub menu item under Web Design.

I thought I had it but when I scrolled over the menu item only half the first menu item hidden behind the slider image, the change to z-index 100 helped only when when clicking the top menu item bringing the sub menus forward. So I played with the slider setting the z-index to 0. This seemed to work unless I find another problem I may have caused.

I have this same problem. My horizontal menu drops down behind the sidebar that is below it. How do I get it to show on top of the sidebar?

Hi,

Have you tried to set the position to relative and z-index to 1000 for your Header control? If that does not help, create a private topic and provide an access to the site back end so we could review the settings.

Sincerely,
Hella

Thank you, it was the requirement to set the position to Relative that solved the problem. I should have looked at the CSS manual first. Setting to 5 z-index was enough to bring it to the front.

Hi,

You are welcome. I usually suggest to set it to 1000 in case some other elements do have another z-index values that may be high.

Hella

Hi,

The problem may be in the menu width. Try to set it to 100%. If that does not help, create a private topic with the access to the site back end so we could review the settings.

Hi,

I have not made any changes to me theme for months and suddenly I have this problem - the menu items appear behind the page content.

I shouldn't have to change anything BUT I can't let my client's website remain like this.

I have set the position to relative and z-index to 1000 but it's made no difference.

Site is https://www.dyfniabachcottage.co.uk

Any/all help gratefully received.

Hello John,

I don't see the issue when the menu items are behind the content. See attached screenshots.
How should I be testing it?
