Themler v.301 Update (26-May-2016)

Hi everyone,

We've updated Themler from the current Beta version.
The new version is 301.
Here is a list of fixes and features included in this Themler update:

General

IMPORT/EXPORT CONTENT for WordPress and Joomla (posts/pages, menus and images).

Please Save theme & refresh page with F5 to apply changes.

Ribbon UI:

UI for Columns control has been reworked
Joined Layout tab and Insert tab on Ribbon:
Moved Joomla Position, WP Widget Area and other on top of Insert tab and to "+" button
Ribbon is now collapsing on narrow screens instead of scrolling
Combined list of Pages/Posts and Templates for WP and Joomla:
Fixed issue with missing Logo Hyperlink in UI
Fixed a few bugs with Bold/Italic and other edit font & paragraph commands on Home tab

Preview:

Next/Prev buttons added to switch active slide in Preview
Selection frame made bolder and more visible
Fixed translation of control names for non-English users to make consistent in Preview, Ribbon, Path and so on
Highlighted Container control with dashed frame when hover on control inside it
FIX: don't show SCROLL when resize IMAGE inside Canvas or Slide container.

Joomla

Fixed crash in Joomla when removing Store templates
Improved template finding algorithm.

WordPress

Fixed issue with "Header Link" option in the WP Theme Options.

Other

Removed Grid offset in Boxed mode between Slider and Slide
Added button "Import from Zip" to Open theme dialog in Themler Desktop
Fixed issue with redirection to projects page after theme Update
Fixed issue with Slider animations (flashing of animated controls on Slide Out).
Fixed issue with hidden control with animation on all Slides except first in Themler preview.
Other fixes.

Themler Desktop changes

We've also updated Themler Desktop installation with the following fixes and improvements. The updated installation can be downloaded from our website.

VBS scripts are no longer used in Themler Desktop installation.
Added startup diagnostics. Now in case of any startup problem Diagnostic Tool will show all information about the problem and send error report.
Fixed issue with uninstalling Themler Desktop in Windows 10.
Fixed issue with shortcodes in Joomla/WP pages.
Improved performance of Diagnostic Tool.
Themler desktop installation is now Dual Signed.
Fixed issue with Google Security Warning.

Hello
I was happy to see the new update of themler 301 ... because I need to export content to zip with joomla ...
but unfortunately when I try to export to zip with the content for joomla, themler replies that he is a failure and that there is a problem with the server ...
What can I do ? What can you do ?

Does the error appear when trying to export a theme with content or content only? Could you please create a new private topic and provide access to your website there for investigation?

I tried the 2 cases. The error occurs when exporting with content and theme and only content.
I do not know how to create a new private topic ... but I used independently Themler my website. I'm trying to create the template on themler I wanted to export to zip (with content) and then import it into joomla

I just tried from my site online and export functions ...
but if I open themler from my computer (not from the site), and exporting the zip I get an error.
I will proceed from my site as I can make it work, I preferred goal do without it ...

Hello..

Thanks for the update... only one thing I would like to suggest to THEMLER is have another Tick Option on exporting theme, explained below:

After installing the theme in wordpress or other platforms, the update or link appears where it ask to install the themler plugin. Is it possible to have that option as a tick option, I think it would be beneficial for the developer or designer.

Hello,

Content of the changes for the moment, A small downside, the position of choosing between "list and tree" I preferred the top position. I know it is not easy to make an interface, those who complain should try to place icons and menus that will please everyone. It's easier to say, that I do not like it, than to offer a solution.

I find Home tab very confusing. Sometimes clicking on a block makes Home tab not anymore with global options, but with selective options for this specific block. Very unlogical.
Can you keep Home tab only for all global options, and if you need you can add more tabs, there is lot of space on bar.

there's no need to download new version, you may just open existing theme in Themler and update it.
Or create a new theme at themler.com

Hi, Export option " Include Content" is not working ? If i import Theme in Wordpress, i have no pages, no menu and no content within. Ive add over Themler > Admin>wordpress the whole site content with pages, menu and so on... ive import the theme, but no pages with content is here ??
How can i import finished content to current wp installation ?

After you import theme with content in Themler, a dialog screen appears - please choose whether to add content, replace or not add it. Select add or replace so the content from the theme is imported.
Please note that the theme includes content, however you will need to assign this content in proper locations, for example, to set menus in WP admin (such as set the menu for Primary Navigation and so on), to create widgets. Let us know if any questions appear in process.

Could you please provide some more details about the menu not working on phones - do they not open pages, not open submenu etc.? Also could you please create a new private case and provide temporary access to your website? If this is the theme you work locally at, please export and provide the theme .zip.
