Themler v.301 Update (26-May-2016)

Hi everyone,

We've updated Themler from the current Beta version.
The new version is 301.
Here is a list of fixes and features included in this Themler update:

General

  • IMPORT/EXPORT CONTENT for WordPress and Joomla (posts/pages, menus and images).

    Please Save theme & refresh page with F5 to apply changes.

Ribbon UI:

  • UI for Columns control has been reworked

  • Joined Layout tab and Insert tab on Ribbon:

    insert-tab.png

  • Moved Joomla Position, WP Widget Area and other on top of Insert tab and to "+" button

  • Ribbon is now collapsing on narrow screens instead of scrolling

  • Combined list of Pages/Posts and Templates for WP and Joomla:

  • Fixed issue with missing Logo Hyperlink in UI

  • Fixed a few bugs with Bold/Italic and other edit font & paragraph commands on Home tab

Preview:

  • Next/Prev buttons added to switch active slide in Preview
  • Selection frame made bolder and more visible
  • Fixed translation of control names for non-English users to make consistent in Preview, Ribbon, Path and so on
  • Highlighted Container control with dashed frame when hover on control inside it
  • FIX: don't show SCROLL when resize IMAGE inside Canvas or Slide container.

Joomla

  • Fixed crash in Joomla when removing Store templates
  • Improved template finding algorithm.

WordPress

  • Fixed issue with "Header Link" option in the WP Theme Options.

Other

  • Removed Grid offset in Boxed mode between Slider and Slide
  • Added button "Import from Zip" to Open theme dialog in Themler Desktop
  • Fixed issue with redirection to projects page after theme Update
  • Fixed issue with Slider animations (flashing of animated controls on Slide Out).
  • Fixed issue with hidden control with animation on all Slides except first in Themler preview.
  • Other fixes.

Themler Desktop changes

We've also updated Themler Desktop installation with the following fixes and improvements. The updated installation can be downloaded from our website.

  • VBS scripts are no longer used in Themler Desktop installation.
  • Added startup diagnostics. Now in case of any startup problem Diagnostic Tool will show all information about the problem and send error report.
  • Fixed issue with uninstalling Themler Desktop in Windows 10.
  • Fixed issue with shortcodes in Joomla/WP pages.
  • Improved performance of Diagnostic Tool.
  • Themler desktop installation is now Dual Signed.
  • Fixed issue with Google Security Warning.

List / Tree

I admit, I couldn't understand why that ability was removed, but reading the post made me look harder to find where to change to "Tree".

I say, LEAVE the options at the bottom.
The only reason we are complaining is because it's moved. We were used to finding it one place and when it was not found there we (or some of us) thought it was removed.

But frankly, it's just as obvious at the bottom of that list and nicely tucked away, yet obvious enough. I vote to leave it there instead of messing with finding another position.

In this new update (I missed the previous update), where is the viewport visibility button, say... if I want to make an item on the home page template visible on desktop but not mobile devices?

Hi Themler Team. I noticed something that can be improved a little in the import content option. first of all it works great, but for some reason it doesn't automatically assign the templates to pages... so if i worked on a site and edited different page templates for different pages, and than upload the site live and import the content, the pages will not be with their page templates.. please fix this so it will remember the page templates, it can be really problematic if you have a lot of pages and you import the content... i am on wordpress btw....

I am having this great challenge with this latest update. When I create custom page type in themler for wordpress. I can't find them in the wordpress pages.

I needed custom pages for my client's job. I have it created in themler but i am surprise i can find it in the page template. Please how do I go about this.

Haven't used Themler much but can it do Accordion style menu's?
And can you do like an carousel slider like this one?

I have made one like this but modified with thumbnails by coding my own and would like to put this on, if I made a webpage made with Themler.

Here is instruction on how to create custom templates for WP Posts and Pages:

You should create exactly "Post" or "Page" templates:

Do you mean a carousel slider? Unfortunately Themler does not support such type of Sliders but you can use any existing plug-in for this with Themler theme.
