Hide empty Joomla module position in column

Hello,
is there a way to hide a module position in a column, like sidebars ?

For example, i made a section, with 2 column in it. I put 2 modules positions, left and right.
If right is empty, actually, the size of column still 50% (for example). Is there a way it do 100% when 1 module position is published ?

The sidebars solution is cool, but not more personalisable. The best way is to can do the same with column or row...
