I can't iadd a Small Picture (Favicon)

If just created a new website WITH a favicon (upload .png via themler).
Works perfectly.

Try with not bigger then 32x32px - should work.

I'm having the same problems loading a file type ICO which I already had uploaded to other sites before the update. I went back and opened an existing site and tried uploading the same file and it fails with "Warning, We're sorry. We cant open this file type". I need to upload ICO type since it has multiple file sizes for desktop and mobile bookmarking. Thanks

My problem is when I try to click on "From file...". It suppose it will open a window where I select the file, right? Ok, that's the problem: nothing happens. no window is open, so I can't select a file.

I couldn't reproduce the issue with the .ico icon with Themler online in Chrome - added the icon From File in .ico format and uploaded it successfully. Are the issues present for you only in Themler for Windows or Themler for Mac, or with some specific theme, with some specific browser?
Also please try temporary disabling browser add-ons and try with a different browser.
Please let us know the result.

I have the same problem.

I have a Windows pc with Google Chrome. I go to home -> settings. Click on the Add favicon thumbnail and select 'from file' and the popup screen to upload the image does not appear. This also doesn't work in Firefox.

I tried uploading the picture through the option 'url'. The uploading worked, but the favicon is not shown.

Have you tried to edit the theme from another computer? Also make sure that your favicon is an .ico file with 32*32 resolution.

Same problem. No file upload appears. It worked with a previous version of Themler 100%. Chrome/FF on Win Server 2012 R2.

Do you work in Themler for Windows, Themler for Mac, or on your live host? Did you try a different browser? How exactly are you adding the favicon - from file?

We are sorry for the issue. The issue with the favicon not working from URL is forwarded to our developers. I would recommend you to try temporarily using the option "From File", it is not necessary to remove the URL inserted previously - it will be overwritten.

I cannot reproduce the issue with the favicon From File with the latest Themler version, the favicon is applied correctly. If you would not prefer to provide access to your website, could you probably export the theme and attach the image for the favicon, so that we could test it on our end? Please attach them in a new private case.

Hi Nettie,

I created a new theme in wordpress to test (destock and w7 64bits).
"From file" and "url" work, but I can not delete the url after adding it.
I hope this helps.

Unfortunately there is no option to remove the image at this time. But you can change the icon to some default icon instead of removing.
