In a previous question on previews it was said when working in Themler online, you can create a Live-Preview and send the link to another person. Within an hour that link should become accessable and only for a few hours.

is this feature also applicable when you work with a desktop version of Themler.

Hi,

No, the desktop version is an application that works on the local server installed on your computer. You can not provide a link to your local server unless you create a server on your own computer.
