Error Unable to Save File - Exporting a section

In desktop Themler, I am attempting to export a section so I can re-use it on other themes. I have selected the container, then clicked on the container tab, then clicked export. It asks for a name and location to save, and upon trying to save I get "error unable to save file". I have tried saving to desktop as well as downloads to no avail.

We are sorry for the issue. It happens with Themler for Mac and it will be fixed for the future updates. Please let us know if you have this issue not on Themler for Mac.

Oke, I have installed the latest version on my mac this morning and started to create a theme. Now i want to export it and i get the error message mentioned in this forumitem.

You have replied that it will be fixed in a future update, but that was in june 2016. It is now march 2017.
Please tell me a workarround and send me a fix for this issue.

Hello,

Please try the following - run Live Preview in Themler and copy the link, then change it to the form like for example http://127.0.0.1:12080/themler_XXXXXXXXXX/startup/and put into Chrome or Firefox browser, run your theme and try to export the section.
