So if as developers we wish to display our own details by using the backlinks then we are in effect being forced to also declare to the world that we have used Themler as I asserted above?
No thank you! From now on I will make sure that I replace the backlinks with my own section, very, very unprofessional behaviour from a company that charges that much on an annual basis for the e-commerce version which I have.
I also subscribe to Adobe creative cloud for Photoshop and Lightroom, it is fairly standard practice for photos that I sell to have a small discrete watermark on them at the lower price range (removed for the more expensive ones) which helps freelancers like myself but thank god Adobe do not try to stamp the image for all to see as that is just the tool kit I use.
Sorry to rant but this has rattled me after being forced to manually remove all of the Artisteer stuff from every file in a theme produced with it in the past.
