How can I add text to a background image?

I tried to use the "Insert Text" but was unable to add the text.

Do I need to first add a new "Container"? If yes, how to add a new "Container"?

Hello,

It is possible, to add an absolute container - Canvas, drop the text over it, and then add some other container over it. It depends on what exactly you would like to achieve.
Another way would be to merge the text and image in any graphic editor.
