Can somebody help me please, I am trying to make a very simple page with 2 columns left and right, where the right column will move underneath the left on mobile devices.

I have set the post here on the home page to 2 columns, but only the left column is visible? Maybe this is ok, but how do I get content in the right column for the actual page?

I have tried the <div> commands, but they don't seem to have an effect.

I'm trying to build a site for joomla 3.6, using themler.

Please ask me if I've not asked my question clearly.

Thanks.

Hi,

Sorry, the explanation is not clear. Could you please attach the marked screen shot that will demonstrate what you are trying to achieve and what exactly can not be done in Themler.

Sincerely,
Hella

I tried downloading a template to see how that works, in capture4 you can see that the page is set up for 3 columns of content for laptops and desktops. In the layout only the left column is shown, although you can see it takes up just the 1st third of the width.

When applying this theme to a basic site, all of the home page content is loaded into this first column shown in capture5, how can I get content into the 2nd and 3rd columns?

Finally, when viewing on mobile devices like in capture6, I believe the 3 columns should stack on top of each other, like 3 rows, rather than 3 columns, is this correct?

Thanks for getting back to me.

Hi,

Columns are used to design the grid on the blog pages and not the content of the post. When you set the columns number that means that you will have several posts and they will be displayed in columns and not one below another.
To have the post content go in columns, you may use some plug-in as there is no such option in Themler.
As for the columns, yes, they will go one below another if you specify the width for each column in the phone view to 100%.

Sincerely,
Hella
