Modify wordpress online/vs offline: what happens to local theme?

Hello,
I created locally and uploaded a theme online in Wordpress. For a quick edit, I edited it directly in themler integrated in the online wordpress dashboard.
So what happens now to the theme I created locally? All the changes done online won't appear in the local theme, right..?
How to update the local theme then? Otherwise I risk to have my work saved only in wordpress

Hi,

Yes, your local installation can not be updated with your live site changes as they are different sites with the similar theme. You need to export the theme from your online editor (with the editor included) and then import it into your desktop application.
