Themler v.322 Beta Update (29-July-2016)

Hi everyone,

We've released the new Themler Beta update.
The new version is 322.
Here is a list of fixes and features included in this Themler update:

UI

New Positioning dialog:

We have removed "Align Content" extension and included its functionality into the updated "Positioning" dialog. Now there is only one option for alignment in different types of containers.
The Length modes have been renamed to Boxed/Wide/Fluid and the whole logic of this property has been redesigned.
Also, we added Length option to Design tab. Now you can control the Layout of the current template in one click.
The "Grid Padding" property from the theme Settings has been renamed to "Margins" and global "Margins" are now located on the Design tab next to the Length option.

General

We have tested Themler compatibility with:

PrestaShop 1.6.1.6 - no compatibility issues.
Joomla 3.6 - a few compatibility issues are fixed in this update. The issue with missing Print Icon will be fixed in the next update.
VirtueMart 3.0.17 - a few compatibility issues are fixed in this update. The issue with authorization screen will be fixed in the next update.

Fixes

General and UI

Fixed issue with controls (widget areas, etc) not removed after removing of the custom template where these controls were added.
Improved the Post Image, Product Image, etc. dialogs.
Fixed issue with converting Section height in em to px on resize.
Fixed issue with Table and Button properties under the More Styles.
Fixed crash with Mouse Wheel in Themler Settings.
Fixed issue with crash on uploading favicon "From File" on Themler Settings.
Other fixes and improvements.

Joomla & VirtueMart

Fixed compatibility issue with the most recent PHP 7 version (7.0.9).
Fixed issue with custom templates on Joomla 3.6.
Fixed issue with Products Slider and Product Variations.
Fixed issue with Product Variations and CloudZoom.
Fixed issue with customizing Store templates.
Fixed issue with Headline link.
Fixed issue with Products template when Page Layout option of the VM Category page is set to "Categories".
Other fixes.

WordPress & Woocommerce

Fixed issue with Proceed to checkout button on Woocommerce 2.6.
Fixed issue with YITH Subscriptions plug-in.
Fixed issue with installing Themler-Core plugin on some server configurations (HTTP Error 200 on save).
Added warning when* WordPress Address* and Site Address use different protocols - HTTP and HTTPS. This is the most common cause of Themler crash caused by cross-origin issue.
Reduced memory usage on Themler startup to solve out of memory problems in some cases:
Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 9529178 bytes)
Added warning when double bootstrap.js is found on the page.
A few other small fixes.

Drupal

Drupal 6: Fixed issue with accessing custom templates in Themler through the template list.

PrestaShop

Fixed issue with the multistore.

What Next?

MegaMenu is in process.
"Suggest Homepage" button like it was made in Artisteer
Ability to set large Header for the Home template and smaller Headers for other templates (only Intro part is visible). In this way, the large Slider will stay on the homepage only.
Ability to free-position any control to any exact place you like. It means that if there is no appropriate d'n'd layout position for control the absolute d'n'd position will appear (just like in Slider or Canvas).

Hi Stagger Lee,

The animation works in v328 with float too. The problem is in order of elements:
first - Post Image,
then - Post Content
If you add a background to the Post Content you will see that it covers the Image and you cannot hover on it. This is normal behavior.
You need either remove floating or place the Post Image on Top of the Post Content with z-index.

This issue has been resolved on our end and the fix is included into the next Themler update.
In the meantime as workaround remove the
float:left
of the Post Image control and animation works.

I use v.328 and still same problem. This with float doesnt work.

I have asked support for serial number or activation or whatever I need and I was going to delete themler and reinstall, but they have not answered yet

You don't need any serial number for reinstalling, but only the Billion Account that you've used to log in on this forum.

How do I get back to the previous non beta version?

Your prev project was backupped automatically before updating to the new Themler version. You can find it under the Open Project dialog on Desktop version. It has the same name as your project but with the number at the end. When you select it, it will be opened in prev Themler version.

Ok I was able to locate previous version and when I opened it it was not the theme I was working on but rather the last theme I was working on. I tried opening all of the projects and they all opened the same last theme. This update really screwed things up or I have a corrupted file somewhere. ok, everything is totally SCREWED UP. I go to a site I made earlier using desktop app, and there are no pages, only templates and it is showing content from the most recent theme I was working on. Boy this update just made me dead in the water. Any response from the admins? (crickets)

I remember a few similar complaints on prev Themler versions too across this Forum, Could you please contact support and send them your corrupted project? I think that this will really help to find the problem and to fix it quickly.

This update has screwed everything up. I was working on a Wordpress theme and had it just about ready to go live and I updated and now everything I had customized is gone. Wordpress footer widgets disappeared search box gone, blog layout reverted to original and my post disappeared, basically everything went away. I tried using the desktop application and when I created a new theme, it opened up my old site with all the content and not the default new theme that usually loads. Also I am not able to add sections or anything to a "page" but only to "template". Am not sure what the hell you all are doing but it was working fine and I am sure you fixed some bugs and added some suggestions but you created a whole new set of problems. Please lets get this resolved ASAP

The menu problems are infuriating! The menu just does not appear in the theme, when I install a theme I have created using Themler. Can you please confirm if the issue is resolved in this version? I usually prefer not to use beta versions, but seems like I have no choice!
