Okay must be a bug with the export function, because I definitely selected Themler as the exported theme. I will export again as Themler and reattach. Thanks. Also I took a look at the second URL link, and when I go to export as a Themler template, I do not get a CMS option dropdown...

Attached is a screenshot of my export screen....no option to select CMS type...Let me know if this is a bug in Artisteer...

I upgraded to 4.3.0.60902, and am able to see the CSM type now...However I am getting a new problem.

First I am not able to import this Zip Themler Template into Themler Desktop and edit it...I can only edit Themler templates I download from Themler's website.

Tried to upload ZIP export to Joomla backend on personal website and edit there....
When i export to Zip from Artisteer and import the Zip into my Joomla site and go to edit template, I notice the Themler editor that pops up looks like the WordPress Themler format versus the Joomla Themler format. Why when I try to edit online do I get the Themler Wordpress Editor, yet when I edit Themler downloaded templates, I see the normal Joomla Themler editor. I have attached both my Zip and ARTX file as well as a few different screenshots of what I am seeing.

Let me know how this can be fixed...

Unfortunately there are no themes attached, only images. But I see that on the one you called wordpress the template is old, there is a red Upgrade sign in the top bar, press it and the theme will be updated to the new interface. That is normal that Artisteer initially exports theme with the old manifest.
If you have any other questions after upgrade, please let us know.

Attached is my exported Themler template for Joomla CMS. Take a look. After upgrading I can see the Joomla Themler view in my browser, however the template is messed up and does not look like it did in Artisteer.

Are Artisteer templates not easily convertible into Themler templates??? Because they looks very different on import into Online CSM.

Side note*** I am also not able to edit this template using the Themler Desktop. When to go to import from Zip, it imports, but I do not get an edit button... Only a message at the top that reads "For completing conversion you need to open Themler once." Attached is a screenshot. Thoughts on this second issue?

The theme in Themler looks quite similar with the Artisteer project above. There might be minor differences, please consider changing them manually as converting from Artisteer to Themler format is not an easy task.
As for the desktop version. You import the theme in Themler or your Joomla site? Once imported within Themler, use the Apply button and then it should be available for editing from your back end.

I imported my .ZIP themler theme into Themler Desktop but am unable to edit it in the desktop version... I can only edit in online in my Joomla Themler Admin backend...Not desktop. How do I edit it using Themler Desktop?

Then I try to import the jommla template, unsuccessful :-(.

I have a template that I created in Artisteer for my Joomla site, but I want to make tweaks to it in Themler before loading into my Joomla CMS. Once I am happy with the design in Artisteer I click on "Export".

I select "Themler" from the template list.
I Give it a file name/ folder location.
I check "Zip Archive, Include ARTX Project, and Include Content"

Then I get an export confirmation in Artisteer that says "Export has been successfully completed"

I then go to Themler Desktop and choose Joomla as the CMS to run with Themler.

Once in Themler I go to File>Import from Zip... and select the saved ZIP file and select open.

Then I get the message "File Upload Failed. Only Joomla Templates are allowed"

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?? Why can I not import an Artisteer developed theme and import it into Themler for use with Joomla CMS?

I to have the same issue, althow it's an old version, it still should work.
I'll attache the zip and .ARTX file hereby...
I hope you can help me with this so I can convert this (old) template to Joomla 4.

Looks like the theme was exported as Joomla template, but not as Themler for Joomla.
We have re-exported the theme, successfully imported it in Themler and updated to the latest Themler version. Please find both exported and updated theme versions attached.

Please note that these themes are for Joomla 3. The themes for Joomla 3 cannot be imported or converted for Joomla 4 automatically. The themes are completely different as if they were for different CMS's. That is why for Joomla 4 a separate theme should be downloaded and not just Joomla 3 theme with Themler update.

Here are possible ways to make creating themes easier (if they are made to re-create old themes):
- organize controls in Sections and use Export as Zip option in the Section tab, then import them in a new theme using Import as Zip
- there are Export / Import options available in the Posts tab to transfer Posts layout and styling

There is a separate Themler theme for Joomla 4 at https://themler.io/Download. Currently it is in Beta. Please find the updated version for Joomla 4 attached. Please note that there is a known issue with Joomla 4.2 at the moment.

What error message do you get when tryng to import the theme in Themler? If it is the same case as by timbriche, please make sure to export the theme from Artisteer as Themler theme and then specify Joomla in the export dialog.
