Hello!

How can I edit theme settings (for eg. number of products in sliders for New, Popular, Others in same category, etc.) when the theme is not exported with Themler included?
When I export it with Themler I see the settings in BillionThemes and under the theme I have "Theme Settings".

But when I export it without Themler - I cannot find them...

Hello,
this functionality requires Themler plugin and enabled overrides of CMS controllers. The PrestaShop themes do not include Theme Settings

Regards,
Aileen

Hello,
So, how will I build a theme for sale, if after that it can not be modified without the complement of themler?

Sorry but I do not understand how I can export a theme made with themler and then import it to a clean installation of prestashop and that my client who has bought my theme can install and manage modules, slider, featured products, etc ... without do not have themler?

Would you be so kind as to explain this to me?
Thank you.

I've been testing your software for many days and it seems interesting but there are things I just do not understand.

Thanks again and regards.

Hi,

Themler theme is just a theme. It does not create PS modules or any other dynamic content. Therefore you can manage modules via PS admin panel without opening theme in Themler.
In Themler you ca edit only the elements you added in Themler (the style of the menus, modules, static HTML controls like Slider, Image or Text).

I suggest that you install clear PS installation on your local webserver and setup simple shop with modules that you need and see how it will look with Themler theme. This is the best way to understand how Themler works if you familiar with Prestashop and how it works.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Thank you,
Olivia

Hello Olivia, thank you for your response.

Excuse me english

I did not explain myself well on my question.

I understand prestashop, I am not new to this.
I have successfully installed themler white theme, I have also installed Unidoo themes, etc. and everything worked well for me.
I have modified position of modules, added things with themler, modified menu .. etc .. and everything perfect!

Then I export when I complete modifications and import theme without themler, without themler billion modules.

(A problem that I have found, the top cart does not open javascript, the resizable button does not work, but this will be a problem with predesigned templates ... maybe, I do not know, this is not the problem that this question poses for me at the moment , but if you want to answer ....)

How do I edit the modified menu if the module?
Do I have to install a different module, another menu? because that can not be modified without the module billion ...

How do I edit the slider I have with themler?
I have to install another slider, because that is not configurable within pretashop modules ...
By the way, when installing blank template, the sample images of the theme are not for me, how can I see the images sample?
--- and so with the whole theme

It's as if only themler is a base to create a theme of its own, that's fine, but for everything to be easier, at least in prestashop, it would have themler to have a slider to edit etc ...

Gracias, Thank you,

Hi,

Theme modules are required. We cannot guarantee that theme will work properly without theme modules. Also, third-party menu module will not use Themler menu style. This style can be applied to the menu created by theme menu module.

Themler Slider is an element of the theme, not the content. Therefore it can be edited in Themler only as any other style elements like background colors and font typography.

As far as I remember PS has own slider for Home page. This module can be styles in Themler also. But please note that this is PS module and Themler theme does not affect its functionality. Only styling.

A problem that I have found, the top cart does not open javascript, the resizable button does not work, but this will be a problem with predesigned templates

Unfortunately both issues are not clear to me. Pleas explain them in more detail including screenshots and link to the page that demonstrates the issue.

Thank you,
Olivia
