Hello,

I have created a menu in Themler Joomla template, and it appears differently on different browsers. I have checked to see if this because themler is using points instead of pixels, but that does not seem to be the case. It appears too big and terribly zoomed in, in firefox but looks good on Chrome(This could be because themler was built on chrome?). Please help!

Thanks,
Sai.

Hello,
it seems to be related to the way how browsers render and output the page. The same happens with Protostar theme in FF and Chrome
http://test11.centripetalinfotech.com/?template=protostar
So it is not an issue related to Themler theme

regards,
Aileen

The default templates are not what I am talking about. They are free templates that came with Joomla. I am talking solely about the professional templates, I intend to make for the clients using Themler. This is happening with all the templates I have created with Themler for Joomla. I am counting on your assistance to help me resolve this.

Hello Sai,
I contacted engineers about this issue. In fact the site looks different in FF and Chrome because browsers calculates 1 pixel in different ways and thus it looks different. In addition to it margins and some other style related options are calculated and displayed in different way.
Even sample sections may look a bit different in Chrome and FF, e.g.
http://templates.themler.com/Themes/Preview/2877199/Three-Columns-with-Background-Image?device=desktop
The solution is to use different styles for FF, but Themler theme do not include special styles for FF.

regards,
Aileen

On Cross-Checking, it looks the same on opera, firefox and Internet Explorer. I can adjust it according to firefox to make it look normal on all other browsers. Perhaps a separate stylesheet for chrome would resolve the issue?

Hi,

I've checked your website on a few computers in FF and Chrome with the same result:

ff-vs-chrome.png

The page looks the same except a few little things like rendering fronts.
The issue on the screenshots you attached is more like an issue with page zooming.
Could you please test the website on the different computer with similar resolution and check zoom settings in browser.

Thank you,
Olivia
