Hello,

I want to suggest a new Joomla Blog layout Template for Themler. the current templates are good but they are not very realistic. Looking at most Joomla & Wordpress websites out there, many display blog layouts in one long paginated column.

from left :
1. Will be a thumbnail or the article image,
2. then the Headline,
3. The Intro Text
4. article meta info : like date, Category , author etc.

This blog section alone can be made very powerful users will no longer need third party extensions and plugins to display content. Imagine a Themler which allows you to have multiple layouts to choose from. A Themler which does not require other content display extensions. No one will need several other extensions again. This will mean , leaner websites, faster websites, reduced bugs and conflicts on websites.

Whiles at this one, please consider making a layout for the archives Menu Item too. I am assuming since you already have sample templates, this should be easy to implement in the next update.

Layout.png shows an ideal way an extension displays content whiles layout3.png is themlers interface to help you understand my point.

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion. You can now create such layout by hands in Themler and then export such layout and import when you need to use the same layout in other theme.

Sincerely,
Hella

Hello Francisc,
I suppose that question concerns export and import.

You may set up the Blog layout and then use Import and Export option of Posts control:

BlogExportImport.png

regards,
Aileen
