Hi

The Themler default template has the footer contained within content & sidebars unlike all the other templates which have the footer outside the content & sidebars.

Should this be changed?

Thank you

Hi,

You can position the footer as you wish. Now it affects your layout somehow?

Sincerely,
Hella

Yes, the issue is the page layout.
My page is not responding to the 'wide' design layout and is showing a Fluid layout.

But I can't change the layout to boxed because the footer is contained within the content and so shows a boxed too.

Thank you for looking at this.

Hi,

I see that you have created other topic regarding this issue. It's private and we'll continue discussion there.
So I'm closing this one. Please do not duplicate cases for a single issue.

Sincerely,
Hella

Hella,
Can you please not close this thread just yet?
I have a very similar issue that only appeared with the last Themler update.
My footer...is supposed to be in the footer.

The home page is fine. But internal pages have the footer to the right of the content area.
I know that it's a div tag that was "not" closed where it should have been closed, and that the footer is "inside" the div tag for the sidebar login. I "could" dig into the mess, but it would seem this could happen often. I find it hard to believe that it's only "my" installation that's effected.

I didn't touch the template after the update of Themler. In fact, I haven't touched anything in this particular project for a while due to being overly busy. The first thing I did when I logged in to Themler was to update. I inspected the pages and found there is at least 1 coding error.
Any thoughts?

I haven't attempted to make any changes to the width or any other setting. Simply updated Themler and the footer became part of the content area. This is a personal project in a sub-directory, so I'm under no pressure to make a fix. But I would like to see the footer...in the footer.

...sigh...sorry. I just now saw that this thread is August 2016 - not 2017. I'll find the right thread....

Hi,

Yes, please, create a private topic with the access to the site back end so we could review the settings. The issue also may be caused by the conflict with some plug-in.

Sincerely,
Hella

Hi,
The "only" plulgin is a contact form - literally. I already deactivated that to see if it was causing the problem, but no change when it was deactivated.

I'll do what you suggested in creating a private topic.
Thanks.
Thomas
