Is there a possibility of pulling "top 3" featured articles into a Themler section?

I have designed a one page website, and for the news section on the website I have a section with 3 columns.

Is there a way of pulling the top three featured articles into those columns? Or do I have to do it manually?

Also is there any documentation on customising blogs and posts as I tried to implement that using Themler documentation and must be doing something incorrect as it showed up as a bulletpoint list rather than how I wanted it to display

Much appreciated

Hello,
you may output featured articles in 3 columns, but they won't be located inside Section.

If you found a plugin which output article as Joomla module, then you may add Section with columns, locate Joomla Module Position control inside columns and add Joomla module (with article) into those created Positions.

regards,
Aileen
