Hi,
I'm trying to update Themler - haven't used it in a while and the new version looks great - i might actually be able to add a section without tearing my hair out. Anyway. I've downloaded the version from the website but it still gives me the old UI. When i click on the "update" button it goes into an error cycle of the attached image.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled to no avail.

Can you help?
Thanks
Robin

Hello,

Please follow the steps below:
1. Backup all theme folders somewhere on your computer.
2. Uninstall Themler completely and also check the box for "Remove all CMS content".
3. Check if the following folders are still present:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Themler
C:\ProgramData\Themler

4. If they exist, remove them.
5. Reboot the machine after uninstalling Themler, so that all Themler services are removed for sure.
6. Download latest version of Themler for Windows from themler.com, install it and try to start with any CMS and create a theme.
7. Try updating the theme.
Please let us know the result.

Sincerely,
Nettie,

Hi Nettie,
Oh what a relief! That worked.
When Themler first arrived I struggled with it but after much perseverance I created a wonderful website. Coming back to it now to create a new site it was like hitting a brick wall - i knew it was possible to create something awesome but i couldn't even get started. All the tutorials pointed to a version i didnt appear to have which had that remarkable "Add section" button - that's all i want. Just give me a blank page and the ability to add my own images with text overlaid.

That's now what i have - it's fabulous and i no longer have to be sad :)

Thank-you
Robin
