So i've found where to PARTIALLY edit the footer backlinks. I've managed to set my author and website. Yet the full backlink still reads

"Joomla template created with themler by ...." where joomla template and themler are active hyperlinks. Where / how do i edit that text and remove those hyperlinks completely. It's definitely not through settings => scroll down to the bottom

Hi,

There is no option to edit those links so I suggest you to disable backlinks control under the settings tab and add the Text control with your desired text and links.

Sincerely,
Hella

Could this be added then in a next version, in the mean time i'll work around it in joomla > templates and edit index.php if i can find the reference.

We can consider your suggestion. But it's easier to add your own Text control with the desired text and remove the Backlinks control completely.

Sincerely,
Hella

I can't even disable it from showing on ANY of the views (Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, Phones). It's a like a bug that one can't rid of.

Hello John,

Did you please try disabling them in the Home tab >> Settings >> disable the "Show Backlinks" option?

Sincerely,
Nettie,

I always use the Joomla footer module in a position I add called copyright. Then use a language override and add your html there.

Let me know if you need detailed instructions. I am not at my computer but can find the string and show screenshots. If you do it this way you get a copyright with the correct year that updates automatically.
