Themler keeps adding more standard pages

I'm trying to use Themler to build a Wordpress site (and site template). Maybe I'm using Themler wrong, so I could use some help.

I created a great home page. Now, when I go into some of the other individual pages to edit them (to act like several static pages, not blog pages), I see multiple About, Testimonial, History, and Blog pages. I have one of the "About" pages edited as I like it.

I guessed to go into the "Manage Pages" option to delete the rest (and create a new page). OK, that opens an internal Wordpress Admin panel, where I have even more pages. It looks like it adds a page every time I save the template in Themler? How do I know which of these pages to delete and which to export as part of my theme?

A little help here, please? While Themler's documentation is somewhat helpful for beginning the process, it gets a little scarce on the inner workings at this level. (And please, a few written instructions instead of all video would be nice.)

Thanks

Hello,
the pages are created on WP admin back end. Themler does not create pages.
Please provide access to the WP admin back end and we'll check the issue

regards,
Aileen

This is on my desktop computer using the Windows client version.

I can see some, but not all, of the new pages on my screen when viewing the pages. See attached screen shots.

Also, there's a notice to upgrade the WP backend installed by the client. Are we supposed to go ahead and run that installer and keep WP updated like I do on my website installation?

Hi,

I assume that at some moment you installed theme and imported content. This is the only way to get duplicated pages. Themler itself does not create pages but it includes the content importing feature which allows to export theme with content and then import this content while installing a theme. But before importing content Themler asks whether you want to import content or not.
In any case, if you don't need sample data pages you can remove them.

In general, you can try updating WP if you really need it and you know what you're doing and you have a backup of WP installation, themes and content.
I would suggest not to do anything with installation.

Thank you,
Olivia

Thanks Olivia. I'll keep an eye out for what I'm doing when I see duplicate pages in the future.

I was able to complete my theme and install it on the live server, and I'm impressed with how great it looks and how responsive it is. Thanks for the great online support and I look forward to Themler just getting better and better.

Hi,

I assume that you have imported the theme content several times and that makes the pages duplicated. Delete all of them and then import the content only once. After that when you install the theme again, do not import content.

Sincerely,
Hella
