Themler v.349 Update (2-September-2016)

Hi everyone,

We've updated Themler from the current Beta version.
The new version is 349.
Here is a list of fixes and features included in this Themler update:

Improvements

  • Ability to free-position any control to any exact place you like. It means that if there is no appropriate d'n'd layout position for control the absolute d'n'd position will appear (just like in Slider or Container).

  • Split all Large Headers to Header section for All Templates and Intro section (usually with Slider) for Home Template only.
    This behavior will be applied to newly added Large Header Sections on the Home template only.

  • Cross-template areas like Header, Footer, Sidebars are now accessible as Ribbon Tab for selected children controls:

  • Few options added to Header Area tab:

    • Sticky (previously named ‘Fix on Scroll’) to stick Header position during page scrolling
    • Homepage Style – allows to override fill, border and text properties for Home template (e.g. to make navbar transparent on Home page only) . It will be applied to single inner section or header Area itself. It is available on Home template only.
    • Overlap Next Section – set position:absolute to Header Section to overlap next Section (it is some Intro section usually). It will be applied to single inner section or Header Area itself. It is available on Home template only.

  • Improved Backlinks control. Now it is possible to disable backlinks to CMS and Themler under the Home tab >> Settings.

  • Added option to add/remove Columns left and right margin:

  • Removed Canvas control. The Canvas control was merged with Layout Container control. Now there is single Container control which supports any type of positioning.

  • Improved Themler stability.

Fixes

  • Fixed issue with positioning of Horizontal menu control after update (when it was impossible to click on menu items).
    Fixed issue with links in WP.
  • Other minor fixes.

Hello,

Still problems with this update, I see developers not even tested lon, this update makes duplicates and articles and containers on the home page, although some items are multiplied by 6, I n 've never seen it.

I am more confused by never ending change of menu links here at forum than in Themler.

Nice work but in the process for Drupal at least once I update I am no longer able to change horizontal menu !!!!!!

Mitch,

This update includes a fix for this issue. But if the issue continues on your side please create a new Private topic and provide the theme backup.
In the meantime please reset the Menu positioning and set its position again:

You can add unlimited number of joomla position controls and place then in the way you need anywhere on the page. Yes, you can and starting with this update you can do this in almost the same way as in Artisteer. Just add Joomla position to the Header or Container and start moving the control.

This update is really quirky. I created a WP theme and saved it, then when I reopened it, all content was gone. I uploaded the blank theme to WP and it multiplied all my pages by 3. I imported content and blog page was empty. Tried to delete the theme from WP and was told cannot delete them, it does not exist. Tried opening a new theme from the program and got the message "Import Failed, we are sorry, only "WordPress" Themler's themes are supported"

What is going on?

This confirms my problems I have them myself up to 6 pages copy it for some reason, I lost 2 themes with this version if you hand a blank project, themler made duplicates of pages also several containers but on updating the existing project will create no errors.

I cant open a blank theme without getting the error "Import Failed, we are sorry, only "WordPress" Themler's themes are supported". It does create an untitled theme, and it makes 3 copies of all the pages, but since I was trying to Create New Theme and not upload anything, still wondering why I am getting this error.

Hi there,

in Joomla there is also no Levels Option in Horizontal and Vertical menu.
Is this a bug or it is possible to find it in another place?

If you have any technical problems please create new Private topic and provide us with detailed instructions on how to reproduce the issue with screenshots and video if possible.
I cannot reproduce the issue with duplicated articles on my side. We need to know what exactly you're doing.

thanks for your fast answer. For the next topic, I will create the new, private one. But maybe the "Levels" topic will we try to end here.
The "Type" is only in Horizontal Menu. In Vertical there is no "Levels" neither "Type". So, where it is or when it will be there too?

After latest update I have problems in Outline window to drag and drop blocks. Get this old error when doing it.
The if in left sidebar Widget block is first and you try to put anythung above it ends beneath it when saving theme. Trying to drag and drop it above gives Error occured...

Few Smaler Problems, and new Settings to make, but themler is getting better and better.
I´m working since nearly day1 - and its great that you seem to have learned from older "faults" - and make it better.
Support is getting better, theming - I like it.

The only REAL worse thing is, that If i create a HTML Template I cant change it to e.g. a Joomla Template.
That still really sucks ;) Any Infos about this?
