Congratulation. You managed even custom Archive templates. Very nice.

But how to use them ? (I checked documents)
They are greyed no matter where I go and where I click.

Hi,

Yes, you are right, additional saving is required for some options to work fine after the update.

Make some document about whole Themler logic, not just options for designing theme itself. New custom templates are not visible in backend unless you delete preview folder manually. What button delete / refresh this folder ? Naming of buttons in top menu are so non-descriptive, needs lot guessing what they do, and why.

Some documentation about it, etc....

How to get posts list when we style custom archive page ?
If we chose Blog in options then we get it. I see changes are reflected on website, but it is work in blind.

  • Custom Template
  • Write yout name, my case is archive-(post_type).php
  • I see WP is picking PHP file right.
  • In Themler editor I have only (one) page for styling.

What to do to get post list ?

Trying whole day but no. Give us option to name Blog templates as we need. So we can have Blog list in Themler editing window. How to style custom post type archive if all we see in Themler is one page/post ?
(tried on cloud and own WP installation)

All changes are respected, it means in background all is working well. But it is styling in blind.

If we could name Blog files, for instance "blog_16.php" to "archive-ownone.php" we would get Post list when we style custom template.

  • And something else. Seems Themler dont delete files from deleted custom templates.

So right now I have in total 8 templates, 2 Blog templates (with product, default, etc). Inside theme there are 19 blog template files.
(includes folder)
Dont know if it is OK, maybe it is.

Yes, I see now all changes are respected. But how to style Posts Pagination when it is only one post ?

Small tip for others: Go to Themler WordPress backend and give "Sample Page" page featured image. Makes styling easier.

Stagger Lee,

New custom templates are not visible in backend unless you delete preview folder manually. What button delete / refresh this folder ?

Could you please provide us with step by step information on how to reproduce this issue? And a few screenshots?
I created a lot of custom templates in Themler but I never saw this issue.
Please create separate topic for this.

Naming of buttons in top menu are so non-descriptive, needs lot guessing what they do, and why.

Do you mean Top menu in Themler? They all have tooltips with description. What exactly buttons are incomprehensible?

How to get posts list when we style custom archive page ?

I see what you mean. I'll ask our developers why WP page appears on the custom post type archive template instead of the list of custom posts in Themler.
In the meantime the better way is to create custom taxonomy template, make desired changes and then duplicate it with the archive-{$posttype}.php name.

The general Pagination style can be configured under the Styles section.

Please do not mix different problems in one general topic. please create individual topics for every question/issue.

Shaul,
Unfortunately we do not plan to include a lot of new features into the next update. We plan to fix existing bugs and improve stability and performance.
Once we do that we'll add more major features.

Thank you,
Olivia

Seems as I named custom template wrong, not by WP codex. Maybe some character wrong. I will report if it happens again.

Bootstrap in Themler is amazing. What took me hours of manual tweaking in Artisteer now is just few clicks around Themler.

At the end I allways needed to come back and tweak more, tweak more, tweak differently. Because you dont/cant tweak well for all situation and after few months you detect on clients website Firefox this and this version, this and this screen resolution mess layout. Tweak more, tweak more, fell inside evil circle of tweaking and unnecessary CSS code, etc...

And everything now is centered, blocks have equal height, spacing left-right is equal, same on responsive.
It really saves lot of time.
