Hi,

I recently purchased two themes and uploaded them to Artisteer. After I develop the content, I export the zip file to my 'add new themes' in WordPress. The problem is there is no buttons that say 'add content' or 'replaced content' in the theme panel. Therefore is is not importing the content I created in the .artx file even though I've checked off import the zip archive, include artx project and include content.
If I'm using one of Artisteer stock themes I don't have this problem. Is this a flaw in your theme templates. I addressed this issue with Artisteer, but I have not heard back from them.

Please advise

Thanks,

Peter Scribner

Hi,

Could you please attach the .artx file and the exported .zip file so we could understand if the issue is somehow related to the BillionThemes.
Also what exact WP version you are using?

Hi,

One more hint. Make sure that you have pressed the Include content check box in the Artisteer export dialog. After that you need to upload the theme to the site, activate it and the yellow message with the Install Content button will appear.

Best regards,

Hi Peter, in case you still are not able to find the import content button try two things:
1. disable all plugins before you upload and activate the theme and check if it works.
2. update wordpress to be 3.9.1, I have found that on older wordpress version the import content function vanishes.

I hope you succeed :)

Hi Peter,

Just to follow up - such issues with missing "Import" options on WordPress are often caused by SEO plug-ins.
Try disabling a SEO plug-in, if you have one, to import content from a theme.

Best regards,
