Artisteer Support ID 192568
I'm asking this here since I still have a valid Artisteer licence but I've had no reply since I raised this ticket on Jan 27th (which is so disappointing to say the least!).

Artisteer 4.3.0.60858
Website: http://www.askiviewrobe.com.au
Windows 8.1 laptop

When changing from one webpage to another in Chrome (Version 48.0.2564.97 m) the header image (png with text) from the tablet and phone all appear at the same time very briefly and then only the desktop header image is left.

I'm also seeing this in Internet Explorer but not in Firefox.

It seems to be okay in Chrome on Samsung S4.

Any idea how I can fix this?

Thanks,
Karen

Hello Karen,
I'm sorry for delay in response.

What you described is how the page is loaded. I mean that first all objects which are located in Header are loaded and only then they're hidden with CSS code.
If page would loaded faster, the moment when all header objects are displayed would be not visible to end user.
So possible workaround is to reduce the page loading time. I used the browser developer tools to verify the loading time of different page elements. The long loading instances are
- GET requests (I suppose that you cannot change it)
- images loading time. You may use smaller images to load them faster and it could do the trick.

Regards,
Aileen

I'll try reducing the images but I don't understand why Firefox would be okay and the others aren't if it's just load time.

Also is this the only way to get support for Artisteer nowadays?

Karen

Hello Karen,
the way how the page is loaded and rendered depends on browser.
As you're using logo image you may try the following workaround. Now you're using different logo images for different screen sizes. Try to use single logo image but specify its width/height in percents. In this case it should be adapted for the different screen sizes automatically and only 1 picture is loaded.

Artisteer support is being reviewed daily. Unfortunately we cannot review all cases but situation is getting better there.

regards,
Aileen

I'm having the same issue.. nobody has followed up on my tickets in over 2 weeks & nothing is still working!?! Why should I shell out $149 if the software won't work...

I don't think that Artisteer has been actively developed for years since Themler took it's place and that may have been replaced by now.... I moved on to page builders since I couldn't find anything as good as Artisteer when it was working well (which was years ago). I didn't realise it was still being sold.
