When I add multiple 'Text' boxes to a 'Container' like a 'Column' there is vertical space between the Text' boxes.

How can I effect/eliminate this space?

Notice the vertical space between 'Click Here to' and 'Report a Loss'

Thank you.

Hello Jim,

You may change the margin for each Text control or remove it by setting it to "0". For this please select the Text control, go to the Text tab >> Margin:

You may disable the "Same value" option and remove the bottom margin or top margin only.

Hello Nettie,

Surprisingly that was it. I had checked those setting and they were blank, so I assumed no margin was set. But when I actually set them to zero I realized it must be inheriting some margin value from above.

That brings me to a request. Would it be possible to easily view inherited values? I think I recall seeing something along those lines, but it was not integrated into the main setting controls (like the screenshot you provided above).

Thank you.

Hi,

If you put your controls within the section, then navigate to the section tab on the top ribbon, you will see the Inspect option. That will show the list of styles inherited from other elements.

Sincerely,
Hella

Thank you and I will use it.

It would be great if the inherited options could be incorporated into the main setting tools (rather than having to close what you are working in and open a separate window).

My original question would have certainly be avoided.

Thank you Hella.
